It was established on July 2, 1998 to conduct intermediate and secondary level examinations within its jurisdiction. The Board’s primary function is to hold and conduct all examinations pertaining to Secondary School Certificate, Intermediate, Classical Languages and such other examinations as may be assigned to it by the Controlling Authority.
