The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi is responsible for conducting the intermediate level examinations in the Karachi region. The Board was established in 1974 and is currently headed by Mr. Anwar Ahmed Zai.
The Board conducts two main examinations, the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) examination and the Intermediate Supplementary Examination. In addition, the Board also conducts the special examination for private candidates.

BIEK Exam 2023
The BIEK Exam is a standardized test that is required for admission into intermediate level colleges and universities in Karachi, Pakistan. The BIEK Exam is administered by the Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi (BIEK).
