The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Sukkur (BISES) is responsible for conducting intermediate and secondary level examinations in the Sukkur region. Established in 1979, BISES Sukkur is one of the nine Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Pakistan. The Board is headquartered in the city of Sukkur, and its jurisdiction extends to the districts of Sukkur, Ghotki, Khairpur and Naushahro Feroze. BISES Sukkur is responsible for the registration of candidates, issuance of roll number slips, preparation and announcement of results. In addition, the Board also provides facilities for extracurricular activities such as sports and co-curricular competitions.

In order to achieve this goal, the Board has taken various measures such as the introduction of a new examination system, called the Centralized Examination System (CES). Under this system, all examinations are conducted at designated centres, and the Board has setup a Centralized Examination Cell to coordinate all activities related to examinations.
